Mario Nascimbene

Mario Nascimbene , born the November 28th 1913 and dead the January 6th 2002, was a type-setter Italy N of film musics.

It made its musical studies with Milan, the Giuseppe Verdi Academy, and composed of works in concert before approaching the cinema at the beginning of the Années 1940. He worked in the Années 1950 with the Italian neo-realist realizers, like Giuseppe De Santis or Carlo Lizzani, then for Hollywood and wrote the musics of many films on Antiquity, such Alexandre Large the and Barrabas . He began in the Années 1960 a close cooperation with Roberto Rossellini, especially for his telefilms on Descartes, Socrate, Saint Augustin and Blaise Pascal.
