Mario Bachand

François Mario Bachand is militant FLQ -63, identified with the left wing of the movement. Decree in June 1963, it is condemned to 4 years of prison. Released, it militates in various groups of left, while remaining felquist, and takes part in several outstanding demonstrations like the Monday of the bludgeon (June 24th 1968) and French the McGill Operation, which aimed at denouncing the domination of the anglophone capitalist Establishment of Montreal on the Québécois people. It exiled in April 1969 in Paris, in Spain and joined other felquists in Cuba. It set out again in Paris with Raymond Villeneuve in April 1970. He was assassinated in Paris in 1971 in mysterious circumstances.
