Mario Aoun
Mario Aoun is a doctor Lebanon board and a political figure of the Free patriotic current of the general Michel Aoun.
He was elected president about the doctors of Lebanon in 2004, succeeding two doctors who belonged to the Running of the Future. In 2005, he is candidate of the CPL to the legislative elections, for the seat Maronite of Chouf. It loses the elections vis-a-vis the list of the Alliance of March 14th, gathering the Socialist party progressist of Walid Joumblatt and the Lebanese Forces represented by Georges Adouan.
In parallel, Aoun had launched a legal procedure against its predecessor, Ghattas Khoury, member of the Current of the Future, that it accused of corruption within the framework of the construction of the seat of the Order with Beirut. In 2007, justice gives reason to Khoury and its complaint is rejected. The supported candidates by Mario Aoun and the parties of the Lebanese opposition pro-Syrian woman lose the elections about the doctors this same year, which falls down between the hands of the parties of March 14th.
