Marina Foïs

Marina Foïs is a French actress of Théâtre, Télévision and Cinéma, born the January 20th 1970.

Biography

Marina Foïs begins her career on the boards of the theaters. Initially only, it will join the troop The Royal Imperial Green Rabbit Company (which will become thereafter Robins of Wood). This troop is made up pupils of the Cours Florent of the class of Isabelle Nanty (given between 1989 and 1990), which will play besides with them in the part which will propel them towards success: Robin of Wood, a part of about Alexandre Dumas .

Noticed by Dominique Farrugia in 1996, Marina and the troop will play daily on line on the chain Comédie! in the Large Emission during two years. For this period, Marina Co-writing of many sketches with Pierre-François Martin-Laval and camps of the various and varied characters, energy of Sophie Pétoncule, of a confusing stupidity, with metteuse in scene, pedant and authoritative. They will continue the following year their wild imaginings on Canal+, being discovered then with a growing public.

As from June 2001, Marina and the troop release their daily obligations to be devoted more and more to the cinema. Among them, Marina Foïs becomes one of the most productive actresses while playing in almost three films per annum.

December 3rd, 2004 with the Hospital Saint-Anthony of Paris, it gives rise to its first child, a fore-mentioned boy Lazare, with his companion the realizer Eric Lartigau.
