Marie of Naples

Marie of Naples or Marie of Anjou-Sicily , born with Naples in November 1328, died with Naples the May 20th 1366, posthumous girl of Charles of Anjou-Sicily, duke of Calabria, and Marie de Valois.

Biography

Marie of Naples married in first weddings the April 30th 1343 her cousin Charles of Anjou (1323 † 1348), duke of Durazzo, and had:

*Louis (1343 † 1344)
*Jeanne (1344 † 1387), duchess of Durazzo, married in 1366 with Louis de Navarre (1341 † 1372), count de Beaumont, then in 1374 with Robert IV of Artois (1356 † 1387), count of Have
*Agnès (1345 † 1383), married in 1363 with Cansignorio della Scala (1340 † 1375), lord of Vérone, then in 1382 with Jacques of the Beams (1353 † 1383), prince de Tarente and of Achaïe
*Clémence (1346 † 1363)
*Marguerite (1347 † 1412), married in 1368 with his/her cousin Charles III of Durazzo (1345 † 1386), king de Naples

Widow, it remaria in 1348 with Robert of the Beams († 1354), lord of the Beams and count d' Avellino, whom it ends up assassinating. He did not have children.

In third weddings, she married in April 1355 another cousin, Philippe II (1329 † 1374), prince de Tarente and titular emperor of Constantinople, from which she had:

*Philippe, born in 1356, dead young person.
*Charles, born in 1358, dead young person.
*Philippe, born in 1360, dead young person.
*un child, born in 1362, died in 1362.
