Marie Charlotte Say , by its marriage princess Amédée de Broglie , was born with Glass-the-Bush the August 25th 1857 and died in Paris the July 15th 1943.
Wealthy heiress of an industrialist of sugar, Constant Say, grand-daughter of Louis Say, it marries, on June 7th 1875, the prince Henri Amédée de Broglie (1849 - 1917). They have five children:

- Antoinette (1877-1877);
- Jean Victor Amédée Marie Jacques (1878-1974);
- François Marie Constant Amédée Robert (1880-1956);
- Stéphanie Pauline Marie Amédée Marguerite (1883-1973) (Mrs Guy de Lubersac, then Mrs André Pariente).
For the sum of 1.706.500 gold francs, paid on its economies of young girl, it buys on March 17th 1875, little before its marriage, the Château of Chaumont-sur-Loire. Widow in 1917, the princess remaria in 1930 with the prince Louis-Ferdinand of Orleans, Infant of Spain (1888 - 1945). It was necessary to sell the private mansion of the Rue of Solférino then, in 1938, the castle of Chaumont was yielded to the State for 1.800.000 francs. The princess died at an age advanced in a modest apartment of the Rue of Grenelle.
