Marie Masson Golft , born the October 25th 1749 with the Harbor and dead the January 3rd 1826 with Rouen, is a woman of letters, Naturaliste and French dessinatrice .
Marie Masson Golft assisted her uncle, the naturalist Jacques-François Dicquemare, in her scientific work. With died of her uncle, it tried to continue the great work which he had undertaken on the molluscs but the exorbitant expenses of publication prevented it from concluding this task.
While dying, Marie Masson Golft bequeathed to the town of Rouen her library in which the collection of drawings was included/understood, engravings and boards coppers some which were to be used for the publication of the work of his/her uncle.
Marie Masson Golft was member of several learned societies of France as well as royal Academy of Education of Madrid, circle of Philadelphes of the French Cape, royal Company of Bilbao, etc
