Marie Carmen

Marie Carmen (Holy-Foy August 24th 1959 with , Quebec -) is a Québécois singer .

Biography

Very small, it has the taste of the spectacle. This one will not leave it any more, especially since to have heard the black Eagle of Barbara to the radio.

However, it is towards the Théâtre that it is turned in 1976, before meeting the members of the group Accident in 1980. It changes group to join Blood and Marie the following year, for finally forming Radio Rats in 1982.

It will connect the individual ones and the albums. Its most popular album: Honey and venom, sold with 270,000 specimens in Quebec. It is the song the BLACK EAGLE which permetta with the album to find itself with the signal of the prize lists. The last album of the singer, the OTHER, was not very popular in Quebec, but is however considered by several as being its best album (even if Marie Carmen did not take part in all the writing of the album).

In the years 2000, it puts at the variation public life to become voluntary humanitarian with the Peru. With the great pleasure of its faithful fans, it goes up on scene in Montreal (Quebec) with the autumn 2005 in order to make concerts benefit to collect money for the children of Peru. She acknowledges whereas she can never leave the showbizness definitively.
