Marie-Christine of Savoy
Marie-Christine of Savoy is the fourth girl of Victor-Emmanuel Ier. November 21st, 1832, she marries Ferdinand II of Deux-Siciles. Woman of a great piety, it did not lead an easy life to Naples, because of health issues, but it supported all with a great Christian resignation. Marie-Christine had such virtues that she was liked by all the subjects which, of alive sound, considered it already as holy what explains why the Catholic church counts it among the Worthy ones. Its lawsuit of Canonization is still in hand. She died on January 31st, 1836, fifteen days after the birth of the future heir to Ferdinand II, François II.
