Marie-Anne de Neubourg

Marie-Anne de Neubourg (1667-1740) was the second woman of the king Charles II of Spain. It is the little girl of Georges II of Hesse-Darmstadt and the sister of Eléonore de Neubourg.

She was put in scene by Victor Hugo in her romantic drama Ruy Blas. This drama very having even freely inspired the comedy to him delusions of grandeur carried out by L French scenario writer Gerard Oury in 1971.
