Marie-Élaine Thibert

Marie-Elaine Thibert (April 18th 1982 with Montreal -) is a Chanteuse Québécois E. She was revealed thanks to the very first Québécois grinding of the emission Star Academy in 2003, in which she went into final, but lost against Wilfred Bouthillier.

After having recorded a first album éponyme which was sold with more than 300.000 specimens, Marie-Élaine Thibert undertakes on October 6th, 2004 a round which carries out it in the main cities of Quebec, during which it offers some 141 representations. This round culminates at the Center Bell of Montreal, on February 18th, 2006, by an imposing spectacle recorded on DVD, sold with more than 25.000 specimens, and diffused on the waves of VAT to the autumn 2006.

In spite of her very young career, Marie-Élaine Thibert already received many testimonys of appreciation of her public and artistic medium, as the official site of the singer indicates it, in addition to the invitations to be taken part in major events, like its Freehand for Francofollies of Montreal, the homages to Claude Léveillé and Raymond Lévesque, and to sing in duet with Céline Dion in Las Vegas. Marie-Élaine had the chance, since her beginnings in the song, of côtoyer the large ones of the song of Quebec.

Its second album entitled As that was officially launched on April 3rd, 2007. This album was certified disc platinizes at the end of June 2007. Currently, it makes a round of spectacles which will finish at the summer 2008.
