Marian Smoluchowski

Marian von Smoluchowski (born the May 28th 1872 with Vorderbrühl in Austria - died the September 5th 1917 with Cracow) was a Physicien Polish.

Smoluchowski made its studies with Vienna, and had in particular as professor Ludwig Boltzmann. It described the Brownian Movement and worked on the kinetic Théorie of the gases at the same time as Albert Einstein. In its work, he proposed an equation which became the base of the theory of the stochastic Processus S.
