Mariama Ndoye

Mariama Ndoye Mbengue (1953-) is a woman of letters Senegal ease.

Biography

Mariama Ndoye was born with Rufisque into 1953 from a father doctor nutritionist and a mother telephone operator. Mbengue is the name of her husband.

She undertakes studies of letters which she carries out until the doctorate, with a thesis devoted to the oral literature léboue. Also graduate of the School of Louvre, it is researcher with the fundamental Institut of Black Africa (IFAN) and occupies the functions of Conservative to the Musée of African Art of Dakar until in 1986. She remains then about fifteen years in Ivory Coast. She is installed today in Tunisia (2007). In addition to its novels and its news, Mariama Ndoye is also the author of some titles of Littérature of childhood and youth, such as the Legend of Rufisque . Itself has three children and several grandchildren.
