Marguerite Quintin

Marguerite Quintin (Born on November 29th, 1895 -?) was a electrochimist French and collaborator of Rene Audubert and succeeded to him the professorial pulpit of electrochemistry to the Sorbonne.

1921: Graduate of the National Academy of Arts and Trades.

1923: Incorporated Science-Physics.

1935: Doctor-be-sciences.

1935-1943: Responsible for Research to C.N.R.S..

1943-1957: Senior research worker to C.N.R.S..

1930-1946: Assistant with the Faculty of Science of Paris (Institute of Chemistry of Paris, Physics laboratory and of Physical Chemistry).

1946: Chief of Work to the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of chemistry of Paris (located Street Pierre-and-Marie-Curie at Paris in the 5th district) at the Laboratory of Electrochemistry.

1955: Assistant university lecturer.

1956: Part-time lecturer to the Faculty of Science of Paris.

1957: Professor with the Faculty of Science of Paris.

Its work related to primarily the study of the conductivity of the electrolytes.

It contributed to many works of which:

- Electrochemistry: Principles/by Rene Audubert and Marguerite Quintin/University Presses of France (1942).

- Electrochemical Techniques applied to the study of the solutions/by Marguerite Quintin/Information center University (1955).

The post of professor of electrochemistry to the Faculty of Science of Paris was occupied by Marguerite Quintin (of 1957 to 1966) then by Lucien Gierst (Professor in the Universit3e libre de Bruxelles) then Marius Chemla (1927-2005) as from 1967.
