Margot Hennuyère
Margot Hennuyère , born towards 1397, was a player of Paume. It is one of the first sporting ones has to have to leave a hard copy of its existence.
The Journal of a middle-class man of Paris (of 1405 to 1449) reports us thus its exploits: " In this year 1427, came to Paris a named woman Margot, rather young, like 28 to 30 years, which was country of Hainaut, which best played palm than oncques man had seen, and with this played in front of hand behind hand very strongly, very malicieusement, very skilfully, as could make a man, and little came men with whom it did not gain, if they were not most powerful any more joueurs."
