Margherita Barezzi

Margherita Barezzi (Busseto, 1814 - June 19th 1840 is the first wife of Giuseppe Verdi.

Girl of Antonio Barezzi, it marries Giuseppe Verdi the May 4th 1836 in the oratory of the Holy Trinity adjacent to Collegial of Busseto. She settles with Milan with her husband where are born Virginia and Icilio which die prematurely, preceding by little their mother who dies also suddenly in 1840.
