Margeride

The Margeride (in Occitan Marjarida ) is a mountainous region of France, located in the Massif Central at the limits of the departments of the Cantal, the Haute-Loire and the Lozere.

The culminating point is the trick of Fortunio with: 1551 meters.

Side of the Cantal, its Western border is the Truyère, and on the side of the Haute-Loire, the Eastern border is consisted the throats Allier. Towards the south, side of Lozere, it is the valley of the Lot which delimits the area.
