Margarita López Portillo

Margarita López Portillo (born in 1914 with Guadalajara, Jalisco - died the May 8th 2006 with Mexico City) was a Romancière and political Femme Mexican. She was the sister of the president Jose López Portillo.

Management of the media

During the mandate of his/her brother, a commission of televisual monitoring was installation: the STN, is equivalent Mexican of the SCUMS in France. It became the president and thus took about it the control of public television, the Mexican Cinéma and the major part of the media.
