Mareuil-on-Ay or Mareuil-on-Aÿ is a common French, located in the department of the Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne. Its inhabitants is called Marotiers and Marotières.

Castle (registered MH) built between 1771 and 1774 in the fields of the architect Jean-Michel Chevotet and Jean-Baptiste Chaussard, his son-in-law. The garden is redrawn at the end of the 19th century by the landscape designer Edouard Redon.
