The family Mareschal is a family of the nobility Franc comtoise, originating in Vuillafans where it is quoted as of 1394

History

Guillaume Mareschal wire of Aymonin Mareschal and Sybille Gerard was established with Besancon at the end of the 15th century when he makes build famous Hôtel Mareschal close to the Rivotte door.
