Mareau-with-meadows

Mareau-with-Meadows is a Commune Frenchwoman located in the department of the Loiret and the area Center.

Geography

Mareau-with-meadows extends on seven kilometers on southern bank from the Loire downstream from Orleans. Bordering the commune in north, the Loire runs majestueusement. Strewn with islands, it is the refuge of the rare birds and its wild banks are the paradise of the walker.

Agriculture is always present at Mareau-with-Meadows. It is it which gives to the village its rural aspect. One cultivates fruit trees there, early products, but it is especially the vine which makes the reputation of Mareau. The major part of the production of wine of orléanais is done on its territory.
