Marcoult saint

Holy Marcoult or holy Marcoul, holy Marcouf (490-558) is venerated since strong a long time. He lived at the 6th century and was the founder of the abbey of Nanteuil close to Coutances in Normandy. He is known as healer of the scrofula. Its festival is celebrated first Sunday of May.
