Marco Zoppo
Marco Zoppo or he Zoppo , Marco Zoppo da Bologna , Zoppo di Squarcione (Bologna, 1433 - Venice, 1498) is a painter Italy N of the school bolonaise.
Biography
It begins its training with Lippo Dalmasio then with that which adopted it, Francesco Squarcione and at which he will be apprentice until 1455.Between 1455 and 1473, it is in Venice then it carries out some work in Bologna, of which a triptych with the Collegio di Spagna .
Contemporary of Andrea Mantegna, it paints several Vierge with the Child with saints in Bologna.
Francesco Francia was one of its pupils.
He dies in Venice where he had left to work with Squarcione.
