Marco Antonio Etcheverry is old a Football or Bolivia N born the September 26th 1970 with Santa Cruz.

Etcheverry, called El Diablo , was formed at the Destroyers Santa Cruz before continuing its career in the championship of Bolivia to the Bolívar La Paz and Oriente Petrolero. It expatria then with Colo-Colo (Chile), with the América Cali (Colombia), with the Barcelona Guayaquil (Ecuador) before joining the Major League Soccer in 1996 in the club of D.C. United.

To Washington, where it will remain until the end of the season 2003, Etcheverry leads its team to three victories in the Championnat MLS, a Coupe MLS and obtains the reward of Meilleur player of the MLS of the year 1998. In eight years, Etcheverry played 191 matches of MLS and marked 34 goals.

Etcheverry counts 71 selections and marked 13 goals for the team of Bolivia between 1989 and 2003. It thus disputed the World cup 1994, but was especially pointed out by its expulsion against the Germany at the time of the match of opening a few minutes after being entered concerned.

Etcheverry withdrew professional football in April 2006 and accepted the medal of the merit for its athletic performances.
