Marcia Cross , is an American actress, born the March 25th 1962 with Marlborough, in the Massachusetts.

Biography

Child, Marcia Cross already wishes to become actress and moves very quickly towards the comedy. It is graduate Julliard School of New York.

It starts its career in 1984 and appears in many televised series and films.

In 2003/2004, Marcia Cross agrees to pass a casting to then incarnate one of heroins of a very new series in preparation, Desperate Housewives . Its character is directly inspired by the mother of Marc Cherry. At the beginning, Marcia auditions to incarnate the narrator, Mary Alice Young, but Marc Cherry, enthusiastic admiror of Melrose Place , rather suggests to him working the character of Bree. She takes down the role, and finds Doug Savant with which she had worked on the turning of Melrose Place . The series collects the best audiences in all the countries where it is diffused, public but such a critical success. The press reserves a great number of covers to him, and the actress is nominated for many rewards (Golden Globe, Golden Satellite, TV Guides Award, SAG Award).

Pregnancy

Because of her pregnancy, Marcia Cross had to rest until the birth of her binoculars (Eden and Savannah) and to remain confined to bed, by measure of precaution.
