The Soviet probe March 3 , binocular of March 2 is launched the May 28th 1971. It released on December 2nd of the same year a module of landing which arrived intact on the Martian ground close to Sirenum Fossae thanks to a parachute and an engine of braking. Unfortunately, a sandstorm took place in this area and the technicians think that this one ruined the undercarriage.
March 3 will remain in the History of humanity like the first terrestrial machine to have touched an extraterrestrial planet, thanks to its undercarriage released on December 2nd, 1971. It reached surface this day but functioned only 20 seconds.
