1942 . France - Germany: the first Train of off-set Jewish leaves the station of the Le Bourget for Auschwitz. From March to November, 43 trains carried approximately 43.000 Jews towards Auschwitz.
- 1970 . France: a train leaves to the drift on the line Pau - Canfranc and runs off the line by involving a bridge in the Gave d' Aspe. Closed by stages, the line is since abandoned. Discussion are regularly committed for a reopening, which is always only possible.

2001 : Belgium: a collision between two Train S with Pécrot close to Brussels makes eight dead and twelve wounded. An empty oar rolling to misconception ran up against the regular train frontally Leuwen - Ottignies transporting 80 travellers.
