Marcel Servin is a French politician, born on October 20th, 1918 with Versailles (Yvelines) and deceased on October 26th, 1968 with Talange (the Moselle).

Biography

Railwayman, Marcel Servin enters to the French Communist party via the Communist youths since 1934. In 1941, it enters Resistance.

From 1945, it takes the direction of the section of the executives of PCF, function through which it takes part in the exlusion of André Marty and of Charles Tillon in 1952. He is also elected appointed Haute-Saône of 1946 to 1951.

Member of the political office of the Party in 1954, it is then had a presentiment of like the dolphin of the general secretary Maurice Thorez. But starting from the death of Stalin, he is opposed more and more to Thorez. Its theses khrouchtchéviennes will lead to its calling into question by the direction thorézienne of the Party as from 1959: it is the " Business Servin-Casanova " . Subjected to multiple pressures, Marcel Servin ends up making his self-criticism in May 1961, which brings it to its ousting of the direction, towards a station of permanent of the Party in the Moselle.
