Marcel Mouchel
Marcel Mouchel is a former player and trainer of Football French, born the February 13rd 1927 with Équeurdreville-Hainneville (Handle).
He played as attacking with the ACE Cherbourg of 1945 to 1958, with a one season interlude to the SM Caen (1952-53). In Cherbourg, Marcel Mouchel played successively under the direction of George Kimpton, Maurice Blondel and Ernest Vaast, which rented all its exceptional qualities, recognized by 9 selections in team of France amateur (1956-58).
Marcel Mouchel is the player emblematic of the ACE Cherbourg, that which marked the history of the club the most, with Jacky Simon.
After having pushed back several offers, Marcel Mouchel became professional at 31 years while signing with the CS Sedan - club where also Zacharie Noah played - (1958-62). With this last club, it gains as captain the cut of France in 1961 against Nimes 3-1, with Colombes (Hauts-de-Seine). It disputed 111 matches in Division 1, all with Sedan (23 goals in championship).
Become trainer, Marcel Mouchel directed the SM Caen (1962-64), the UST Équeurdreville and the ACE Cherbourg (1970-71). ----
