Marcel Haedrich , (Munster, the January 25th 1913 - Paris, the July 7th 2003), journalist, chronicler with the radio, French writer. His/her father dies in the war the November 15th 1916 in the Somme, under the German uniform.

In 1939, it is made prisoner and is dispatched in a Oflag close to Lubeck. Released after six months of captivity, it enters in Munster, then passes in free Zone.

Clandestine, resistant, it binds friendship with François Mitterrand and creates in 1944 the first newspaper of France (partially) released: “the Free man” . The n°1 appears the June 6th 1944. It directs then Libres , with Paris, of 1944 with 1945.

Journalist high-speed motorboat of the “large press”, it launches to the release Saturday evening . He was also international reporter to Paris-Press 1950 with 1953, directed the drafting of Marie-Claire until in 1964, and was Chroniqueur - leader-writer with Europe 1 (emission: Midday 25, here Marcel Haedrich ).

The December 10th 1985, it is made Chevalier of the Legion of Honor, then Officier the June 3rd 1993.

With its request its two sons dissipated its ashes in the valley of Munster.
