Marcel Granet (1884 - 1940) is a sinologist and a sociologist French major. He was professor with the École of the High Studies and with the École of the Eastern Languages.

He is in particular the author of:

  • the Chinese thought , 1934

Opinion even of the contemporary ethnologists and sinologists, the works of Granet aged little, so that they are still regularly republished -- rather rare fact in the field of the Social sciences.
