Marcel Goc

Marcel Goc (delivery “Gotch”), born the August 24th 1983 with Calw in Germany, is a player of professional Hockey evolving/moving in the National league of hockey for the Sharks de San Jose.

It was fished out by Sharks in first round, 20th on the whole, of the Repêchage of entry in the LNH 2001 of the Schwenningen Wild Wings, club with which it had begun in LED at sixteen years. After having played with Schwenningen and the Adler Mannheim, it crossed the Atlantique to come to play with the club-school of Sharks, the Barons de Cleveland for the season 2003-04. It spent all the season with the Barons, but joined Sharks during the series.

It took part in several international competitions under the German shirt of which the Championnats of the world of 2001, 2003 and 2005, the World cup of 2004 and the Winter Olympics of 2006 with Turin.

His/her brothers Sascha Goc and Nikolai Goc are also professional hockeyeurs.
