Marcel Debarge

Marcel Debarge is a French politician born the September 16th 1929 with Courrières, in the Pas-de-Calais. Before starting a political career, he was an trade-union activist in the Administration of postal and telecommunications authorities.

biographical notes

Resulting from an popular environment, his/her father is minor in the coal basin of the Pas-de-Calais and his/her mother does housework, it comes with her family to live Paris during the war. Very young person it makes many small " boulots" , then it enters to postal and telecommunications authorities, by contest. It reaches the rank of " controller of PTT" , according to the biographical note published in the press, when he is elected Senator.
