Marcel Barrel

Marcel Baril was a painter Québécois born in 1916 with Warwick and deceased in 1999 with Paris.

He devoted himself mainly to figurative and surrealist painting. Not being able to live painting with the Quebec, it expatriate with Paris during the the Fifties. Its manner contrasts with that of the signatories of the total Refus; it does not belong, nor wants to belong, with no group.
