Marc Silvestri is a draftsman and editor of Comic S American, born the March 3rd 1958.

Biography

It begins its career in 1987 at Marvel Comics, on titles like Conan or Web off Spider-Man , and is made known as draftsman of the series Uncanny X-Men , station which it occupies until in 1990. It spends then two years to crayonner its spin-off Wolverine .

In 1992, Silvestri joint with 6 other artists (Jim Lee, Whilce Portacio, Rob Liefeld, Erik Larsen, Todd McFarlane and Jim Valentino) to be formed the company Image Comics where it will launch the series Cyberforce . The series of Silvestri will be published under the label Top Cow. Its responsibilities for editor will less and less leave him time to draw itself.

Notable successes of Signal Cow include the series Witchblade and The Darkness whose Silvestri will draw the first episodes scenarized by Garth Ennis.

In 2004, Silvestri briefly worked for Marvel by crayonnant some numbers of the X-Men, in collaboration with the scenario writer Grant Morrison.

It since harnessed with a new series for its studio, Top Cow Productions, Hunter Killer scenarized by Mark Waid.
