Marc Liebens was born with Montegnée in 1938. Early attracted by photography, it meets Jacques Huisman which gives him taste with the theater. In 1970, it founds with Jean Lefébure the Théâtre of the Square of which it ensures only the direction, of 1972 with 1973. In 1974, it founds, with Janine Patrick, Michele Seutin, Michele Fabien, Jean-Marie Piemme, Jean-Paul Hubin and Jean Louvet the Ensemble Theatrical Mobile of which it is still the organizer today.

Via the editions Didascalies which it directs various texts are published, which marry its work of Director and Dramaturge.
