Marc Lassus
Marc Lassus , engineer physicist, science doctor, began his career as researcher with the National institute of sciences applied of Lyon.
Career

It joined into 1967 the central Laboratories of research in semiconductors of Motorola to Phoenix (Arizona), where there remain two years and half.
- It takes part then in the starting of the production unit of Motorola with Toulouse then is named Scottish plant manager of Motorola (East-Kilbride), where it installs the production unit of the microprocessors and memories, and carries out the first smart card in the world for Bull.
- In 1981, it starts and directs Matra-Harris Semi-conducteurs to Nantes.
- It joined in 1984 Thomson as a person in charge of the whole of the activity of the integrated circuits of Thomson Semi-conducteurs which will become then SGS/Thomson.
- at the end of 1988, it decides to create Gemplus in France. Gemplus is today the n°1 in the field of the chip cards and systems associated (with more than 40% of market share world). The company employs 4.200 people, including 2.500 in France (and 400 researchers).
