Marc Laidlaw (born in 1960, its first name is some time written Mark) is an American author of novel of Science-fiction and horror, known for its works Cyberpunk. It is also Game design er for Valve Software. This work most interesting is certainly the novel Dad' S Nuke , The 37th Mandala , and the series of video game Half-Life.

Biography

Laidlaw was born in 1960 and lived with Laguna Beach in California, then suvi of the courses at the university of the Oregon where it tested, but was discouraged by the programming of computer with perforated card. He writes little stories and its first novel, Dad' S Nuke is published in 1985. Then it connects during ten year several novels, while working at the same time as legal secretary with San Francisco to live.

Laidlaw had played video games, but that had not interested it, until that Myst changes its perception of emerging media. It was obsessed by Myst and was ended up buying a computer to be able to play at his place, in San Francisco. With this new interest, he writes The Third Force (1996), a novel based on a world creates by a video game.
