Marc Hardy (born the August 15th 1952 with Liege) is a Belgian author of Cartoon.
Biography
Marc Hardy, after artistic humanities with the Institute Saint-Luc of Liege and a passage in the workshops of Mittéï and Seron, begins his career in Spirou with stories from the Uncle Paul in 1971 and in the newspaper of Tintin in 1974, with a history of Modeste and Pompon (scenarized by Mittéï) and two accounts of Marc Franval (scenarized by Edouard Aidans). As from 1974, he does not work any more but for Spirou , creating with Mittéï Badminton and the following year the Garonne and Guitare which he animates until 1978 on texts of Mythic. Its traditional but slackened drawing makes of them a draftsman of short stories and covers prolific.It launches in 1984 with the scenario writer Stephen Desberg, Arkel, and especially, with Raoul Cauvin, Tombstone, series which brings success and financial safety to him: in 2006, twenty-three albums were published. It gives up Arkel in 1986 to be devoted more, as a youth author, with Tombstone .
In 1984 always, it launches out in a collaboration with Yann, for “adult” series more. The two artists publish three albums of the patrol of the dragonflies (prépubliés in Circus of 1984 to 1987), six of Lolo and Sucette (1989-2001) and two of Croqu' the life (1992-1994). In 2005 at Dargaud the first volume of Feux appears, in collaboration with the scenario writer Philippe Tome.
