Marc Brillaud de Laujardière
Marc Brillaud de Laujardière is a Architecte and Urbaniste French, born with Paris on March 30th, 1889 and died in 1973.
Graduate of the 3Ecole Nationale Sup3erieure of the fine arts of Paris in 1914, it is tall Prix of Rome in 1920. He joins to the cabinet of Raymond Puthonne. They carry out in particular the church Holy-Agnes with Houses-Alfort in 1933 (Classified Historic building in 1986).
After the Second world war, he works on the first projects of the rebuilding of Saint-Malo then is named architect as a chief of the Reconstruction of Caen, in 1946. Its work consists in modernizing the city, by airing it and by adapting it to the era of the car while marrying the nine and the old one. It is at the origin of the great prospect for the avenue of June 6th which should have been completed by an opening in the middle of the castle, to current Université. Finally, the project will be only partially carried out.
An avenue and an esplanade bear its name to Caen.

- 1935: stage and swimming pool street of Mill-in Enfert with Houses-Alfort
- 1935: residential building to Athis-Mons
- 1937: swimming pool of Trouville (destroyed)
- 1944-1946: plan of installation and rebuilding of Saint-Servan-on-Sea, commune of Saint-Malo
- 1946: city of Authie, Saint-Paul district with Caen
- 1950: departmental administrative center with Caen
- 1954: courtroom of the Court of appeal in the 1st district of Paris
