Marc Boutavant
Marc Boutavant (1970) -) is a Graphiste, Illustrateur and author of cartoons French. He published several books for the children with the Albin Michel, Actes Sud junior, Nathan, Seuil youth and Mila.
Its first publication is carried out for Actes Sud junior with a series “ With small pas ” , of which “ Ecology with small pas ” with François Michel. In 2002, it creates its own animal universe with the series “ Mouk ” , a series of books for children to the Milan Editions. With Emmanuel Guibert, he is also the author of the series “ Ariol and its amis ” in the magazine for children “ I like lire ” , of the group Bayard Presses.
Marc Boutavant belonged to the authors of the Atelier of the Vosges/Atelier Nawak , this “ news génération ” authors of cartoons, with Emile Cheer, Lewis Trondheim, Christophe Blain, David B., Joann Sfar, Frederic Boilet, Marjane Satrapi… It is represented today by Heart Agency , an agency of illustrators based with London and New York.
