Biography

Marc Bourdeau played in concert and on disc with some of the best Canadian musicians of his generation, among which opera singers Jean-François Lapointe, Agathe Martel, Kevin McMillan, Brett Polegato, Sharon Coste and Karina Gauvin. He occurred in North America and of the South, in Europe and Asia, including with the festivals of Ravinia, Montpellier, Stuttgart, Verbier, Bath, Nagoya, Sendai and Maracaibo, and he collaborated in the course of Master with the famous singers Peter Schreier, Thomas Hampson, Jorma Hynninen and Hughes Cuénod. Professor invited to the Neuchâtelois Academy (Swiss), it studied in Montreal, Geneva, New York and London near Yvonne Hubert, Béla Síki, Maria Curcio, Paul Hamburger, Roger Vignoles and Martin Katz.

He gave workshops and courses of Master (repertories instrumental and vocal) to the Royal College off Music and to the Royal Academy off Music of London, the HongKong Academy for Performing Arts, the Conservatoire of music of Shanghai, Summer Vocal Academy of Victoria Conservatory, the Lyric Workshop of the Opéra of Montreal and the Canadian Institute of Vocal art.
