Marc Blancpain

Marc Blancpain is a writer (storyteller, short story writer, novelist), journalist and French professor born with Nouvion-in-Thiérache in 1909, where it is buried after his disappearance with Neuilly-sur-Seine in 2001.

He is French professor in Geneva then in Cairo before the Second world war, which he makes as officer and during which he is made prisoner.

On its return of captivity, Marc Blancpain is named general secretary of the the Alliance Fran1caise and becomes president of 1976 to 1994 about it.

As journalist (written press and radio), he collaborates regularly in the Parisian released , as leader-writer then as chronicler.

Its first novel, the Recluse , appeared in 1945, received the Grand Prix of the novel of the French Academy; since, it published many tests, historical biographies, news and novels which were worth many literary distinctions to him (Price Courteline, Prix Scarron, Prix Engelmann, etc).
