Marc Antoine Lacuée

Marc Antoine Like Damien Jean-Chrisostome Lacuée , born the December 10th 1773 with Agen (Lot-et-Garonne), military French.

It had hardly reached its nineteenth year when it entered to the service, the February 9th 1793, in the capacity as lieutenant assistance-of-camp of his uncle the brigadier general Lacuée, chief of staff of the Armée with the Pyrenees.

It made the campaigns against the Spain, and when in June following the Comité of public hello withdrew with his/her uncle the notifications of command which had been given to him, the Lacuée young person entered as lieutenant the Légion of the Mountains with which it was built-in the 27 {{E}} half-brigade of light infantry the 8 fructidor year III.

Named captain the 24 floréal year IV, it spent the same day in the capacity as assistance-of-camp near the general Sahuguet, with whom it served in Italy until the reform of this general officer the 16 vendémiaire year VI. Authorized, by decision of the 14 following brumaire, to withdraw itself in its hearths until it could be replaced, it was employed like captain-assistant of the staff of the Armée with the Interior, and was attached to the topographic and historical cabinet executive Directoire until the month of floréal year VII, time to which it went to lead conscripts to the Armée with Italy. II then solicited the authorization to remain with this army and to be used to with it in quality of assistant for the adjudant-generals. Cettedemande having been accommodated, it was authorized, the 25 of the same month, to be used temporarily following the staff as Italy.

Appointed major to the light 27e, it made the countryside of year VII in the Palatinat and was used for the staff of the Armée with the Rhine during the war with year VIII, in Souabe and Bavaria.

The 28 fructidor, it was promoted with the rank of chief of brigade and was called with the command of the 63 {{E}} half-brigade of line. It is with the head of this body that it belonged to the Armée with observation with the South during years IX and X, and of that of the coasts of the Ocean during years XI, XII and XIII. Member of the Legion of honor the 19 frimaire year XII, it was created officer the 25 meadow following, and took by it share in the campaigns of Austria and Prussia of year XIV with 1807, with the 1st division of the 7th body of the Large army.

The February 7th 1807, to the Battle of Eylau, where it covered glory, after having received two wounds, it turned over to the combat in spite of the surgeons who wanted to retain it with the ambulance and was killed by a ball of gun.

Its name is engraved on the Triumphal arch of the Star, east coast.
