Marc Ansel

Marc Ansel born on July 14th, 1902 with Izeste in the Yrénées-Atlantiques of Leon Ancel, director of Teacher training school deceased in 1990, is a magistrate and theorist of the right, author of a theory of the called criminal policy new social Defense which consists in reconsidering all the penal system on the defense of the human rights and either on the defense of the Company. Its work was for Robert Badinter the base of the drafting of the Nouveau Penal code.

Biography

After secondary studies finished with the College Henri IV, it last a license is letter (in 1922), then undertakes studies of right which lead it to a doctorate of right (in 1927) then to pass the examination of entry in the Magistrature (in 1929).

It finishes its career like advising with the Court of Cassassion and member of the Academy of Science morals and policies.
