Marc-Aurèle Fort

Marc-Aurèle Fortin (March 14th 1888, Holy-Rose, Quebec - March 2nd 1970, Macamic, Quebec) was a painter Québécois.

He painted landscapes representing certain areas of Quebec.

Biography

He studied the rudiments of painting with two Québécois painters, Ludger Larose and Edmond Dyonnet, just like he attended the workshops of L Art Institute off Chicago .

In 1929, it exposes to Chicago with the the United States, another exposure will follow the year according to Pretoria in South Africa. In 1935, it goes in France and in the north of the Italy, where it will expose regularly.

Reached of a serious disease, it ceases painting in 1950.
