Maraussan

Maraussan is a common French, located in the department of the Herault and the area Languedoc-Roussillon. Its inhabitants is called the " Maraussanais".

Geography

Maraussan is a commune of the West of the department of the Herault, located at the Western north of Béziers.

One sees a typical relief of the Languedocien plain there: hills dispersed on the communal territory and a vast plain which extends to banks from the Orb. The village is crossed by the brook of Merdanson which is thrown in the Orb.
