The marathon of Pau is a pedestrian race of 42,195 km borrowing each year since 2004 the streets of Pau and the campaigns surrounding. It crosses pretty districts of Pau before addressing as tu the roads and the bumps of the road of Jurançon to Gan then Laroin, to be turned over some to Pau by Billère. The safety of this demonstration is jointly assured by the organization, in the city, and by Assistance association and Safety of the South Western, located with Lescar, specialized in this type of intervention, outside the city.

Various editions

• 2004 : 409 runners were registered with this marathon which took place the November 21st.
• 2005 : 430 runners were registered with this marathon which took place Sunday November 20th.
• 2006 : The marathon of Pau took place Sunday November 19th.
• 2007 : The 4th edition is planned for the November 18th.
