Marasmius

The stagnations form a kind Champignon S Basidiomycète S of the family of the Marasmiacée S.
Their name was drawn from the Greek Marasmos meaning " dessèchement" in allusion to their capacity to be desiccated a long time on the spot before rotting (stagnation in medicine, then more recently in economy, have the same etymology besides).
It is about small mushrooms, even tiny, generally coriaces with drying but often hygrophanes.
