María Zambrano
María Zambrano Alarcón (Vélez-Málaga, April 22nd, 1904, – Madrid February 6th, 1991) was a philosopher and Spanish essay writer .
Zambrano studied under the influence of Jose Ortega there Gasset. Its participation in the Guerre of Spain forced it to be exiled during the mode of Francisco Franco, and it spent the periods to Paris, New York, Habana, Geneva, Rome and with the Mexico.
It obtains the Prix Prince of Asturies in 1981.
